The first American bar in the first district (1010) in Vienna is proud of its reputation as one of the finest bars in Austria, their regular customers are from Austria and abroad. As well as the huge selection of Cocktails and Drinks from all over the world, the bar is also an ideal location for company events as well as for Christmas celebrations or birthdays. In our lounge room (non-smokers) is enough space for up to 70 people. The jazz, blues and soul music is always convenient. Since 2018, Whisky, Gin and Rum – tastings take place here.
Celebrating makes you hungry. If you feel hunger coming up, our guests don’t even have to leave the bar. As people don’t live from Cocktails and drinks (alone), the first American bar also serves tasty Bar-food. When you’re in the mood for something hot to drink, we enjoy making a good espresso for you. After all, Vienna is not only known for music but also for its “Kaffehauskultur” (coffee-culture)

Or you’re looking for an appropriate location for your company- events, Christmas-or birthday celebration for up to 70 people? Our cosy lounge room in the first floor is the ideal place. Also, the cosy arch and the impressive Glass windows from the famous architect Hans Hollein ensure a distinctive ambience in the steeped in history first district of Vienna.
Saving the best till last, here is one more important hint: If you’re interested in renting the lounge room or parts of the bar area for a cocktail party or a company event, there is no rental fee that needs to be paid. For groups of 20 or more people, we only agree on a minimal consumption fee.
